On the 22 October 2024, we officially launched our new guidelines, “Doing Research Inclusively: Guidance on Ethical Issues in Co-production” developed in collaboration with people with lived experience of disability.
We heard from Jonathon Kelleher, Inclusion Projects Officer from the NSW Council for Intellectual Disability about how Easy Read documents are created.
We then met the team behind the resources, Professor Iva Strnadová, Emerita Professor Leanne Dowse, and Julie Loblinzk OAM. They explained the ethical issues in co-production and what information these guidelines provide in addressing these issues.
