The UNSW Disability Innovation Institute has launched its Associates Program, which we hope will benefit everyone involved. Through the Program, the Institute seeks to invigorate disability research and further nourish collaboration at UNSW.
Admission to the Program is by successful application or via direct invitation, and Associates must be current UNSW staff (including those at affiliated research institutes) or UNSW PhD students.
We encourage applications from interested staff and students.
Associates will have their research profiled on the Institute’s website and preferential registration to our workshops and other events, as well as advice and guidance on conducting inclusive research with people with disability. Associates will also be automatically eligible to apply for funding from the Institute’s seed funding or bursary schemes.
Associates are expected to give an Institute-hosted webinar or podcast on their disability related research, contribute content to the Institute’s newsletter and website and acknowledge the Institute and its support in relevant publications or other outputs.
